# Avoid Impersonators

Scammers are everywhere, which is why it's important to be cautious when dealing with people online. Here are some tips to avoid impersonators of AutoPlus:

## Check you are on the correct server / on a partner's server [#check-server]

If you are supposed to be on the official AutoPlus Discord server, make sure you are on the correct server by checking the server ID.<br />
To check the server ID, you first need to enable Developer Mode in Discord <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20250131071300/https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/206346498-Where-can-I-find-my-User-Server-Message-ID#h_01HRSTXPS5CRSRTWYCGPHZQ37H" className="hover:underline text-primary italic" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">(click here for more information)</a>.<br />
The current server ID for the official AutoPlus Discord server is <CopyCode text="1318920392148127824" />.

If you are on a partner's server, make sure you are on the correct server by checking the server ID. Here is the list of all the servers AutoPlus is in:

## Check the authenticity of the bot [#check-authenticity]

Even if you are on the correct server, make sure the bot you are interacting with is the real AutoPlus bot. Here are some ways to check:

    Make sure the bot is not a webhook. To check this, click on the bot's username and check if it has roles, banner, tag, etc.

    Make sure the bot is not a User App. Messages from User Apps are

## Staff impersonation [#staff-impersonation]

AutoPlus staff will **NEVER** ask for your Discord token, password, or any other sensitive information. If someone claims to be an AutoPlus staff member and asks for this information, they are impersonating a staff member and should be reported.<br />
Staff members will **NEVER** send you a DM to release or return the funds.<br />
If someone claiming to be staff messages you directly, do not engage with them and report them immediately.
